Before you make Mike Pence into a hero

To all of you who want to beatify Mike Pence for essentially not breaking the law while still needing to check first to see if he could break the law, let’s take a look at what “hero” Mike Pence is up to these days. This is Pence speaking to Larry Kudlow of the Fox Business Channel, as related by CNN:

This was an actual exchange between former Vice President Mike Pence and Fox Business Network host Larry Kudlow on Monday:

Kudlow: “Have you ever seen a president who refuses to accept blame, and I want to add to that, commits so many falsehoods? I’m being very polite here, calling it falsehoods — falsehoods, you know, on any given day. He’s out there saying stuff that just ain’t true. Have you ever seen anything like that?”

Pence: “Never in my lifetime. I said today that there has never been a time in my life where a president was more disconnected from the American people than we see today.”

So, please, no talk about Pence being a hero. The only reason he didn’t take part in Jan. 6 is because someone, somewhere along the line told him he could go to jail for it.

How do I know this?

Because if he did what he did out of a sense of honor, he wouldn’t be saying the things he is saying now.

Pence is without honor.

But he’s just smart enough to not break federal law.

Kudlow, left, and Pence blaming Biden for everything but the crash of the Hindenburg.
